We oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of waste management programs within our local communities and municipalities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This includes drafting and submitting the Solid Waste Annual Progress Report for Southeast Tennessee, researching regional trends, composing mandated reports, and serving as a liaison for state and federal solid waste programs. Additionally, we promote waste reduction initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with local governments on grant applications and administration.
